Reflecting on 2025 and Setting New Year Resolutions for 2026

The year 2025 has been full of exciting moments and positive changes. I am really looking forward to even more adventures and growth in 2026. As we say goodbye to 2025, let’s take a moment to look back at my top three personal achievements. Then, I will share my New Year resolutions for 2026. If you have followed my articles, thank you for your support. I hope you reached your own goals in 2025 and are now setting fresh, achievable New Year resolutions for yourself too!

My Top 3 Personal Achievements in 2025

1. Going Back to School

For many years, I dreamed of improving my education to gain more knowledge and a recognised qualification. I even wrote an article about whether a degree is worth it. If you have not read it yet, give it a go if you are thinking about upgrading your studies. In 2025, I finally took the step and started studying again. It felt great to learn new things and challenge myself.

2. Learning to Love Myself More

Life gets so busy that we often forget to care for ourselves. In 2025, I made time for regular facials, started taking health supplements, and paid more attention to my overall wellbeing, including my emotions. I realised that we only live once, and the most important person is you. Without looking after yourself, everything else feels harder. So, I began setting aside special time just for me. This was to relax, enjoy hobbies, and simply be myself. This has been one of the best changes I made.

3. Better Time and Life Management

Through my experiences, I have learnt how to manage my time, space, and daily activities much more effectively. We all face too much work, meetings, and tasks, but I am grateful that I found ways to handle them well. I now focus on what really matters, prioritise those things, and let go of the less important ones. Everyone has the same 24 hours in a day. If some activities or people do not value your time, it is better to give it to those who do appreciate it. This has helped me feel calmer and more in control.

My Top 3 New Year Resolutions for 2026

1. Keep Upgrading My Education

I plan to continue my studies as long as I can afford it, both in terms of money and mental energy. I am thankful for the support I have received so far, and I want to go as far as possible. Education gives you new knowledge, opens your mind, and helps you see things from different points of view through lessons and talking with others. This New Year resolution is about steady progress, not rushing.

2. Get Moving and Focus on Health

While I spent 2025 focusing on self love, I may have enjoyed it a bit too much and not paid enough attention to my weight. In 2026, my New Year resolution is to get serious about fitness and reach a healthier level. I want to add more exercise, eat better, and feel stronger overall. Small steps, like walking more or trying new activities, will help me build good habits.

3. Prioritise What Really Matters

As a working adult, I have the chance to earn and spend on things that feel worthwhile. This year, I will work harder on recognising what is truly important to me and what is not. I will also focus on people who value me and my time. Through good conversations, I have learnt that life keeps moving no matter what choices we make. The key is to keep making choices that match our values. This New Year resolution will help me live more intentionally.

Final Thoughts

My recap of 2025 and my New Year resolutions for 2026 may seem similar, and that is on purpose. I want to build on what I achieved last year and turn those wins into solid, everyday habits for 2026 and beyond. My main message to you all is simple: Life goes on, whether we make the right or wrong choice. What matters is that we keep making choices.

Wishing you a wonderful 2026 filled with new experiences, positive surprises, and success with your own New Year resolutions. Cheers!
